Little House fan
I know that some time ago I saw a link to directions for making dollhouse size dresses, and maybe even hats?? I just got an ugly (but big and solid wood!) dollhouse for $35 to rehab from craigslist and I was thinking of making it the store and home of a seamstress/milliner. I didn't want to make that commitment until I knew I'd enjoy making all the clothes items, etc. ;) So, are there any patterns or directions that you know of? You guys have been an amazing resource already! I promise I'll post pictures!! B) Thanks so much! Caroline

havanaholly
Melissa held an online tutorial here for making a dress on a hanger, of course now I can't think how to link you to it...
ChildhoodRevisited
You could always use barbie patterns and reduce them on a copier. Just a thought...
havanaholly
Another thought is to hit the thrift shops that sell old dressmaking patterns for anywhere from a penny to a dime apiece; the layout sheet has a place that shows all the pattern pieces (like a kit's schematics sheet) and you can use those for patterns to make little outfits for your dress shop.
