The batteries for the string of lights needed a hiding spot - which I created with a roll of wired greenery I had in my supplies. I twisted several lengths together to make a bush. The battery case was given a quick slap of brown paint, to cover the bright white plastic that might be glimpsed through the "bush". I twisted a long piece of the greenery around the string of lights for camouflage, as if it had grown and climbed up the trunk, and all through the canopy of the cradle. A couple of shorter lengths were glued from the bush and partway up the front of the trunk. Also, to give a finished appearance to the perimeter of the grass - where it meets up with the wood - I glued a very long piece of the greenery all around as trim.
