Mushroom Table

Shy Spirit

I used polymer clay to make the tea-table. A wooden coaster became the support for the top of the mushroom, and a cut piece of a small (real) branch became the support for the mushroom stem. I used brown acrylic paint to shade the mushroom cap. Although the underneath of the top isn't visible in the scene, I gave it the "frilled" brown look - you never know who might peek to see if the job was done properly! (I like to know I did a thorough job, too.)
