Brother Fairy Twig is a resin figure. I just loved his carefree pose, and knew he belonged in the family. I made his little cap from a fabric leaf. The pea on the leaf used to be part of a drop earring. I bought it in a yard sale - it's from the sixties. A polished rock raised the pea so it would be in Twig's sightline. The artificial grass was just too perfect and uniform in colour - so I brushed on yellow and brown acrylic paint, and glued on scattered coffee grounds to make it look more natural. I made the seed cake on the mushroom table from polymer clay, and real seeds.
