Supplies for Willow Sprays

Shy Spirit

A tray of green and gold beads, wire, and a couple of "willow sprays" for the branches. Threading thousands of glass seed beads on wire was a real test of my patience! I'm sure Willow Spirit was giving me calm strength to continue on. I needed pliers to twist the individual wires together to create the sprays. Some beads were left on strings to add on after attaching the sprays to branches. The strings dangled down, and really gave the look of a weeping willow's trailing branches. Superglue and I became fast friends - glued fast, that is! It was the only way to keep the beads on the wires, and to attach the strings of beads to the wired beads. Not my favourite part of the project, but hey - it worked! (I only lost a little skin.)
