Blondie 2,579 Posted January 7, 2014 That was very typical of these old houses. Much of the furniture was out of scale. Quote Link to comment
CheckMouse 1,940 Posted January 7, 2014 I didn't realize it at first, but that oven door opens. I found a website with pictures of doll furniture and one of their stoves looked a lot like this one, but it said the oven opened. So I had to go check it out - and it does open! Too bad the burner-top is missing. 1 Quote Link to comment
Blondie 2,579 Posted January 8, 2014 I think the stove is Tootsie Toy 1920s. See the green one here: http://www.mckendry.net/DOLLHOUSES/1920s.htm Quote Link to comment
Blondie 2,579 Posted January 8, 2014 I think your chair is on that same page. Look for one painted cream further down. Quote Link to comment
CheckMouse 1,940 Posted January 8, 2014 There's a Toy Gas Stove in the 1930 Montgomery Wards catalog that looks a lot like it, also. Quote Link to comment
