The year is 1992. remodeling on the old victorian purchased in 1984 is almost finished. The first load of furniture has arrived and the family is experimenting with placement. In the dining room the smaller, casual table has been set up. Silver is on the sideboard, but the housekeeper has not polished it yet. Mom wants a new carpet for this room. Dad says they need curtains to keep out the nosy neighbors.

I wouldn't cover that beautiful floor, maybe a rug. Those chairs look really good I was looking at them the other day but I forget where and I wondered what they would look like in real life.
