I am using the skinny sticks for the under carriage. This is the part that will have the axel's attached to it. I am laying the sticks across, side to side. I use one stick to make sure that they are all even on the one side. Then I will only have to sand the other side to make it even. Did I mention I HATE sanding?

Don't get rid of the scrap pieces of wood after cutting. As you will then turn this piece over and lay the floor with the sticks going lengthwise for the flooring for the interior of the wagon using random lengths. I have no power tools, so I am using my little saw to cut these. If you were to make this yourself, you could use one long sheet of thin balsa wood.

I wish I could come over and bring you my Easy Cutter. I got one at Hobby Lobby with the 40% off coupon and have no idea how I existed before it!!! And I hate sanding, too!
