I like the smaller double pillar set up much better. It complements the grandeur and gives an interesting architectural element without blocking too much of the room.

I like the smaller ones too, they really seem to fit the room.... the large ones are dynamic, but I think they draw your eye away from the beauty of the rest of the room.

This is the one I like the best as well//it gives the strength the ceiling needs without taking away from the overall picture. Awesome!
