So here as I was telling you there is a doorway, but a thick board used in the construction of the house blocks it. I dont think I will risk cutting it. So I may just add a lot of drapery to encompass the bed like a canopy.

Is the door supposed to go somewhere like a balcony? You could just make it into a window instead.

Yes there is a balcony there
