I found this through a Google image search and it is the inspiration for my Jefferson exterior (on fredendallbuilding.com). I'm still debating the dormer windows.

I like the original section of the house and the dormers definitely! I guess they needed more room, but I think that the "addition" piece is a distraction. Where will you be buying the stone?

I am going to use either paperclay or egg carton stones. If not the yellow, what color should I paint the addition? Or should I take it off?
