Finally finished the first floor stairs. Phew. That was a a tough one. I may rip them both out and use Houseworks stairs. I'm going to wait with that one though until I calm down.

I think these look pretty cool and unique. They give this hallway character.

I agree. I just see so many flaws. It's good to step back in times like these and listen to the house. I do hate that rug though.

If you do change it out, I'd love to see you keep the angled landing. It adds architecural interest.
