Bogie

Because of the rope wood trim around the windows, I want to name this little tudor house "Spinners End." When I told one of my doll collectors she got all excited. She said she could see a little old lady sitting beside the fireplace spinning her balls of yarn. (LOVE IT.) To celebrate this great idea I sculpted a little ball of yarn in the stone over the door. It's amazing how much detail you can get out the Paperclay when you realize it's nothing more that fine paper maché.

Hi Kelly, I sculpted the river rock on the house but made the door details piece by piece. What I really love about the Paperclay is that as you are working, all you have to do is put some water on the parts you want to attach, press light and VIOLA! it sticks. (or at least so far it does.)

Paperclay and stucco are my two favorite mediums... LOL... they hide a wealth of imperfections... LOL... (for me anyhow... ha ha)....

I really love the sharp details around the door... it is really lovely
