Bogie

I had so much fun doing the windows. I did quite a bit or research. To make the house look old I distressed most of the trim that came with the kit and added windows sills. I had just enough spiral trim wood to finish my outcropped windows and am just luuuuving how it's coming out. I plan to repeat the spiral idea next to the door when I do the paperclay stone work.

Where the heck did you find spiral trim that small? I have some but its larger, perhaps too large for our scale so I have never used it. Yours looks perfect!

I found it at a miniature shop in the Pasadena area 20 years ago. (Alas, the store is no longer there.) I've been waiting for just the right project to use it.

I did save about a 8" of it which I intend to mold so I can use it again in the future.

Oh, Debora, where did you find your wider version of this trim? I would like to use a wider trim on an upcoming scratch build I'm designing.
