This is just a crude mock-up of a ladder I would build from sticks and vines. Like the fire pole idea, it allows for much more space.

This one is my favorite :) If you made it with twine and twigs they could pull it up at night :)

I left the stairs out of the Laurel I'm working on... they just took up too much room.
