Please understand there are 3 things I just do not do: anything automotive, anything involving a thread & needle, and woodworking.

Nevertheless, I thought this platform bed turned out decent.

Sounds just like me! (Although, I can sew a little bit.) But, I agree with you-this platform bed is nice!! You did a great job!

I can sew a button. If it needs hemming, I use doublesided tape (or in an emergency at work, a stapler). I can't even operate a sewing machine. Thank goodness I can cook or I'd be kicked out of the being-a-wife-club.
