You can see here how I sprayed the white appliances a hammered silver. I made the cabinet out of basswood, I still have to add a faucet (the shipment of which was held up due to 6in of snow here in Atlanta) and handles.
I picked up the island at a mini garage sale. I thought about painting it black to match the sink but am just not sure it'll turn out as nice as I want. I plan on hanging 3 pendant lights above it and then a matching single pendant over the (missing) table/chairs to the right.
I finally got the windows cut out and their insides trimmed. I used a rather dull blade to cut them and you can see all the rough edges on the paper. Not to worry, that'll be covered by trim.
