42nd birthday cake/2011

heidiiiii

This is from the Cake Lady in New London CT.

It is a three layer mini cake. It is small in width but tall. The picture makes it look big. Marble cake, chocolate mousse filling, and buttercream frosting. It was covered in daisies and spring flowers. Fred knows I like that! :)

That looks scrumptious - got to go find chocolate now - there's always chocolate left in our house after Christmas - usually right through to February - but at this rate it might be gone quicker this year.

Oh man! Now I want cake. I just finished baking an apple pie, but now you have me wondering if I can scrounge up the makings for a cake.

Natalie`s best friend Raymond was sick with the stomach flu so he was not around for my birthday. He was here yesterday. There is one thin piece left! LOL You want to hear the sick part?

I have to order ANOTHER cake just like this one for the end of the month..Fred`s 45th birthday.

Nothing sick about that at all!!! Just another opportunity to splurge a little. Beautiful cake. Great excuse!

Send another piece to this chocoholic sitting in my seat here, pretty please? I love the floral decorations, and wouldn't dream of messing them up -- don't have to, they're not chocolate!
