Pat I just wrote to you. I think the house looks really country! I would have never thought to reverse the stairs. I have a dead spot behind my stairs because of them.

With the stairs reversed it puts the opening a little close to the back edge but the back of the house is always open. The stair opening against the attic wall is not at all realistic. Hiding them like you did is a good idea too. I never thought of that.
