Four poster bed

Jo Med

I imagine this bed in a Russian hunting lodge belonging to a noble family. It sits in the centre of a large room with a huge stone fireplace where there is a log fire blazing away. In the corner of the room is a 7ft high christmas tree dripping with traditional decorations and twinkling in the firelight. The couple sharing this bed are reading ghost stories to one another, traditional on Christmas Eve. The bed has a light in the tented ceiling inside and has silk sheets and a bearskin cover for when the fire dies down and the Siberian winds whip up the snow around the lodge.

LOL guess that means I'll have to build a hunting lodge. Wow, Jo . . . this is an amazing, beautiful piece! I also love your storyline to go with it. I am a big fan of Russian artwork, so I can just see the Nobleman's Hunting Lodge you describe . . . I SO hope you build it, it would be another work of art! I LOVE this!

Have to say browsing thru your pics here, and seeing some of your creations in your Etsy store, awesome seems so much an understatement but is the only word coming to mind.... Gorgeous work! Been enjoying trying my hand at refurbishing and making some of the little things for my niece's place, but can't even imaging trying my hand at the doll making! Leave that to those like yourself for the time being, who have proof that they have talent and know very well how to use it. Hats off again to you!
