Lighted Shelf

I looked and looked for a lighted shelf like this one for over the stove, but just couldn't find one I liked. The natural solution? Make your own! This one is from polymer clay with a scalloped edge cut with a specialty clay blade. The light has a polymer clay transulcent shade. The bulb rests in a clay holder behind the shade, and it can easily be removed to change the bulb. Overall, it came out pretty close to the picture in my head!
