Needlepoint pillows

My attempt at needlepoint is freehand and probably nothing like ti's supposed to be done, but they are one of a kind! Not terrible for a first try, except for the weird shapes. I didn't realize they'd be so darn hard to turn right side out after I stitched them!

Yeah, they're just awful . . . you need to send those to me, and make new ones for yourself. I am, of course, just kidding . . . they are VERY pretty! I think you did a great job on them!

They are beautiful! The whole house is great!

One of my mini needlepoint books recommends pressing in the selvage and slip-stitching the backs on to prevent the "turning" issue and to keep the fabric from stretching the wrong way. I have not tried it yet, but it seems logical!
