Antiqued Red Coffee Table

I've had this idea for weeks to cut down some turned table legs and make a coffee table, and finally got around to it this weekend. (what superbowl??) The red antiqued finish worked out exactly as I wanted, but it turned out to be very hard to capture in a photo. The black antique stain in the crevices and woodgrain is really nice. So nice, in fact, that I found myself eyeing the kitchen cabinets, wondering if they might want to be antiqued, too. Luckily, I restrained myself. <g>
