All soft drinks. Despite what's shown on the TV news, Mardi Gras isn't all about alcohol. The ice bucket is a bowl that Lloyd made.

You can see my real life house cupboards. The door hinges were pretty hinky, so I took them all off. Except for the bag of extra drink cups, you can see it stays fairly tidy. I like having dishware, glasses, cooking pans, etc., on open shelves. I kept the doors under the sink. Nothing under there is fun to look at.

I can't imagine not having doors on mine. We have SO MUCH dust here and it gets inside as it is! I like the look of it though and envy those who can.

Thank you so much for sharing photos of Mardi Gras food preparation. All of the dishes that you're serving are foreign to me - and that's exciting and interesting to see food dishes being prepared that are new to me.
