I decided to spend some time on the window treatments for this house, and consulted some sites like miniprojects.com, which instructed me to put some structure and form into the draperies by pre-staging them with skewers, pins and liberal amounts of spray starch. Well I had to wait for the spray starch to dry, but it sure was worth all that effort-- I am pretty pleased with how all the window treatments turned out, and was sorry to see the last window!

The floor for this room is made out of leftover shingles!
