Thanks. Actually I'm just cheap!!  It was fun. I'd do it differently now though. Experience does help refine your methods and choices. 

Nothing like keeping the budget down to spur creativity.  Works for me.

How would you change the design? 

I don't mind the overall design per se but the finishes and detailing are rather crude and childlike in quality. Not what I would choose now. Live and learn. 

It is curious how we see our previous work.  In my case very SLOWLy refining means of doing things.  I do love your little oven door with the dial and silver door handle and hinges.

Those are just wood scraps. Thankfully this is still an "in progress" picture. It did get resanded and painted a tad better before it went in the house.

The other thing I hate about the house is the sealer I used on the exterior and roof. It wasn't supposed to be shiny but sadly it's "sparkly" instead of matte. sigh ... Another thing that needs a do-over.
