Every once in a while, when it's feeding time, I'll look at them all, five cats and a dog, and wonder if I'm a hoarder.

No..hoarders have a hundred and five cats, and twenty dogs, not five and one. But as I age, I have realized I will no longer have the joy of raising kittens. We're too old, and when I go, I want to have none or only one left for my relatives to find a home for. I am so afraid of my animals ending up in the shelter ...so I've charged my inlaws with finding homes, but you never know if they'll find the right home or not. I want to take that happening out of the mix, early on.
