now then guess how i made this thatch................ with a bath towel Woo !! its really cleaver and I like it much better than my disater when i used fur fabric, and although i really wanted a REAL thatch roof I started off using coconut fibre, but it was SOOOOO messy and fiddly (I'll be finding bits of fibre around for ever I think) and that wasn't giving me the look all ultra neat thatch I wanted. this has worked out wonderful. I will take a better picture outside when it comes downstairs for its debut, I am sure the clour will show up better/

shows all the white bits, although you actaully cna't see them, its the flash that shows them up (true) the actual roof colour is a lovley golden yellow, much like straw, but you can't see it as the flash has taken it all out

You did a great job in "thatching" the roof. LOL I'm going to be trying to thatch the roof of an 1890 (actually it's a 1978 Arrow dollhouse) house. I'll let you know how I make out.
