These are the fairly simple kitchen cabinets I need to make for this house. I'm thinking of just using solid blocks of wood and sticking beveled matboard fake doors onto them. I couldn't care less about opening doors and filling cabinets. Most kitchen and food items will be in the pantry between the kitchen and dining room anyway.

I'll have to keep the blocks of wood & beveled matboard idea for cabinets -  stored away.  Makes visual sense, if displaying items is not intended.
