Kells 398 Posted September 3, 2021 (edited) Here's why I'm painting this dollhouse. It has fully finished panels that fit perfectly into all those cut-out openings you see in earlier pics; it is completely enclosed. Unfortunately, they were never installed and, being in dark storage, they did not fade like the rest of the house did. They are noticeably darker. I am going to install them but now the house has to be entirely repainted. The house pictured here belonged to a relative many, many years ago. We used to spend summers there. Finally found a pic of when it was gray so I could show the comparison. Sooo much better in red, don't you agree? Since I have to repaint this dollhouse anyway, I may as well do it in a color I think works better! Edit: this isn't one of my Photoshop jobs, lol, they're actual photographs. The house really did go from gray to red. Edited September 3, 2021 by Kells 1 Quote Link to comment

They probably did, as these photos were taken decades apart, but it's also the angle. The first is looking up at the house. The second is more head-on so you can see above the roof ridge and what's behind the house. I'm glad you like the red too! Quote Link to comment
