Here's what's going to happen to fix this ugly house. Oddly, now that I've added more pink and green, I kind of like it! I need to swap the hinge to the other side on the right front panel and screw all those porch floors well into place on both sides, but that shouldn't be too big an issue.

The tiny dormer window looks a little dwarfed by the main windows. But otherwise cute!

I think you're right about the dormer. I have another version with a larger dormer and balustrade railing on the first floor. I rejected that one, but I think it's because the railing was just too distracting, not because of the dormer. I'll post that pic if you would be so kind to let me know what you think? Thank you for offering an opinion, I really appreciate it!

No worries! Opinions help when done so in a constructive way! I prefer this without the lower rail - it was too much.

Is the pink on the walls the same pink as the railing? It looks to me that the walls are a peachier pink than the railings. Using the same hue of pink will help too I think (but it could be darker or lighter). Anyway, just a thought!

The color is definitely off in my Photoshop mock-up. The body of the arches will be the same color as the house. I'm undecided about the porch posts and railings but they won't be hot pink like these! I'm still kind of leaning toward white-on-white. I do love an all-white Victorian!

It's funny that you mentioned a white Victorian.   I'm very partial to that look - esp. with  black roofs.  I was actually envisioning this house that way when I looked at it.  I rarely do that with someone else's work.  Just love the uniqueness of this house.  Reminds   me of grand houses I've seen in Swedish DVDs.
