Step one -

Cut base 6 inches by 2 1/4 inches.

Cut Back 6 inches by 2 1/4 inches. Cut a slight curve the top of the back piece.

Cut 2 sides 2 1/4 inches by 1 3/4 inches. Taper the 1 3/4 to 1 1/2 on one end of each.

Cut a 1/2 diameter dowel to 2 1/4 inches and then in half. *** Please be careful cutting the dowel in half. We don't want blood on the couch. smile.gif ***

Is that posterboard that's used for the base? thanks for the wonderful instructional. Have anymore suggestions for non-working lamps?
