step four

Cut a piece of material about 16 inches by 5 inches. With the wrong side down fold over 1/4 inch of the top and glue in place. Spread glue over the base and insides of the sides. Lay fabric ( right side up) and smooth. Place glue on the outer sides and smooth fabric. Make sure the faric to tight to the dowel and side and in the crease. glue the extra to the bottom.

For the front of the arm clip the material so you can fold the front down and under but not all the way to the foam. leave about 1/4 of an inch uncut. Do not glue yet. Hold the couch so the arm you are working on is away from you and twist the fabic under and glue extra under the couch. Do the same with the other side and glue the front fold to the bottom of the couch.
