Just love this Sable. Especially the shutters and the sill. It’s all in the details :)

The lace insert is so nice. Is there plastic over it - how does it stay safe from things?

Interesting question. Yes, a piece of plastic is over a 100% nylon lace. I sealed the edges with an exterior polyurethane. The paint is an exterior paint also.  As much time and effort that is going into this project, due to our high humidity, I don’t expect it to last a year.

I have a question.. I am just starting the Magnolia doll house and the very first thing it tells me to do is remove and prepare the kitchen window sashes but when I look at the schematic it doesn't call them sashes . Are they the frame of the windows ? is that what they are reffering too? This is my first dollhouse so im a little confused.

Thank You

The sash holds the glass. Its the section that opens and closes within the frame. The frame holds the sash. Each window has two sashes but I’m not sure if you have interior sashes also.
