Resin bottles

I think it's getting the actual mold right as well.  Hubby and I have a really good idea of how to go about it now.  Another lot of modelling material has turned up today so we'll have fun this weekend seeing if we can get making the mold right!  You need to consider where you're going to pour from and places to let air bubbles escape.  It's all trial and error but fun!

I agree on getting the mold right.  Isn't it interesting how our original hobby leads us to NEW crafts of creation!!!  I think everything you are making is turning out fabulous.  Were they perfect the 1st time or did it take a few tries?

Yes - really enjoying this - although now waiting for some cake molds to turn up from China so haven't done any more lately.  Some bottles came out perfectly the first time however probably most didn't.  I figured you need to actually push the resin in which helps force the air out.  Hence I've bought a heap of 1 use chemical syringes.  Not the best for the environment so I'll use them sparingly but they work exceptionally well.
