My Alene's tacky glue bottle makes a good gauge for doll height, it's just under 5.5 inches, so I lean the dolls against it while they're drying and keep their heads just slightly above the top of the bottle. I'm working on two at the moment, the one in the back, Mrs Claus, in the front maybe a fairy Godmother...trying two different body types. Some people use epoxy or hot glue to put them together, I prefer tacky glue and super glue.

I made my first doll about a year ago, but since getting my kiln I've gotten a lot more into it.
