Ghost bride

WyckedWood

In this picture I have her boots painted and aged and I've done an Edwardian bodice while waiting for other fabrics to arrive. The design on the piece of lace for the bodice worked so perfectly. Got lucky there, Jeannine sent me the lace.

Working on the paint for a ghost bride. This doll I bought as a blank, she's from a Gina Bellous mold. It was challenging to paint a different expression from what is sculpted on the doll. I wanted her to look like she's softly sobbing. Her mascara has run but she's still pretty. Eventually when her oil paint dries I'll add a little white powder. I tried doing the white powder first but that was a big fail. My inspiration is kind of the look of Kim Basinger in the music video Mary Janes Last Dance.

Wow that bodice came out perfectly, the lace looks like it was designed for her, looking forward to seeing her progress!

Thanks, now just hope I can build the rest of the blouse without detracting from the pattern.

The lace is wonderful.. it fits perfectly.. it's so great when something works out like that isn't it?
