Faux stucco

SewMini

Well this turned out way better than I was expecting! I found a tutorial on youtube for how to create a stucco look with paint and single plys of tissues. I liked the look so I decided to give it a go.

I am sooooo happy with this. Its exactly what I was envisioning for my walls. It was simple to do as well!

More progess! You'll have this thing done in a nano! :D

I like this look. I think it's going to look great once all the trimmings are in.

This went so quick! I think it only took me about an hour to do the whole thing. Maybe not even that. It needs a couple coats of paint for the final look but I am so glad I found that tutorial. This was way easier than spackle. Maybe not 100% as realistic as spackle but I think it comes in a close second

An interesting way to create that texture......it will make for a nice contrast with the floor when you've uncovered it. Then the fun will really begin.........it's great when all of the base coats are done and all the details to look forward to!
