Custom Tiles Part Deux

I ended up not liking the way my plates came out as tiles. They were really, really dark. Lovely on their own but just too dark. Then I remembered a different tile I have (are you sensing a theme here?). This tile is one of four and was brought back from Portugal for me by DH because he knows I love to collect tiles. You put them together into a mosaic to form a circle and diamond pattern.

Lovelly tile design, being Portuguese myself I'm very fond of tiles such as these, our traditional homes have door/window trims and cornices made of stone (granite) and exterior walls covered up with tiles. It's one of the things that I love the most on dollhouses at our local shows, checking the work of artisans that make replica tiles for dollhouse exteriors :)
