Removable Door In Second Floor Hall

dkumpula

To complete the floor on the far side of this room, I had to pull out the door and frame.  I thought it wise to make it easier to remove for cleaning or repairs in the future, so I used brass screws to join the back trim panel to the rest of the door.  This creates a bit of a sandwich that holds everything together in the door frame.  The door itself uses sturdy 12 lb brass hinges that are attached with cut down brass screws and super-glue.  Its quite durable thus far.
