I had already stained all the parts for the railings and overhang, and had shingled the overhang, so tonight I managed to finish that extension and porch. Now just one more extension to do, and I will start the roof! I still haven't hinged anything except the bottom two rooms, so things look a bit crooked.

Depending on the weather, I may get this moved up to the gift shop this weekend. If so, I will be able to get some decent photos of it outside before I bring it in. I only have room to stand back about three feet from it in my living room, so it's difficult to get a decent shot of it on my cellphone.

Thanks Cathy! The long range forecast is still iffy, but I'm keeping my fingers crossed. Weather in Maine, especially down east is so unpredictable this time of year!

Your living room is going to feel so spacious when you move the Inn to the gift shop!  Hmm, guess you'll have to start another dollhouse, lol

I work in the dining room.  We haven't seen the table cleared since last Thanksgiving, lol

I'm actually working on an Orchid for my granddaughter at the same time. I do that one while I'm up spending time with my mother.

When this one is done, I'm planning on doing a lot of landscaping on it, and I will also need to make a ton of accessories for it, so it will probably be a long term project!

It is truly a work of art. Wish I could see it live

Thanks Michele, I wish you could see it in person too. It would be fun seeing my "mini friends" in person!

I would love to see Greenleaf put on a show somewhere near their headquarters, I could probably get my husband to go to that, because it isn't far from where the grandchildren live!

Thanks Nutti! I really do feel lucky to have it, because it is pretty unobtainable. I've only been able to find a very few of these on the internet. I think most people who started them, never did the whole subscription. I still can't believe I really have it!

Thanks Mike, I love the entrance too. The roof is going to look like the roof on the entrance, so it will be really fancy!

This is such a wonderful structure and you have done an amazing job in creating it. Such a delight to watch the stages of construction.
