Today I finished the porch to the top right tatami room. Now all that is left is the railing around the outside of it, and the ovehang. I've already got the glass doors on the porch installed. I'll take a picture of that when I've finished the railings.

The porches and extensions take longer than the rooms inside. I suppose because there are so many steps to them. Only one more to go before I start on the roof!

Very interesting how this is progressing. Am anxious to see it all spread out up in your gift shop where you can finally get it all laid out how you want it.

Thanks Mike! Yeah, it's looking very huge while it's sitting on my coffee table on a sheet of plywood! The roof will be as high as each floor, so it's going to be really tall, as well as wide!

I found a lttle tansu chest yesterday and immediately thought of your wonderful Inn -- which is so unique and detailed .
