Beautiful , love your fresh color scheme, the shingle look amazing with green.

Thank you. I was a little worried about the shingles, they didn't come out as grey as I had hoped. But I think next to the green, they just look weathered... which is kind of cool.

You have been working on this I see. I thought when you posted the box that you were making a joke. Everything looks fab. Love your colors too.

I started it August of last year, finished everything but the shingles and outside trim, And then I just let it sit around while I worked on other houses. I wanted to share my shingled excitement and found that I hadn't shared ANY of the progress on this house. I guess it's always just been in the background of pictures of other houses.

I love it. Now I'm really wanting this house. Didn't think I could work with the interior but now I see from your pics that I can. 

Having lived at one beach or another for so many years, I had to put in the french doors as the "front door" and move their front door to the side. I can't recall a house where the front (or as my boys and I call it, "the pretty side") didn't face the ocean and the front door wasn't on the back or side of the house.

Or maybe it's our "pretty ones" that I only pay attention to!

And there is also my aversion to walls! Sure, I "lose" rooms, but I gain space! Oh, and I flopped the stairs to the other side!
