Working 1/6 scale fireplace

Debora59

Its been on my mind to get my fireplaces lit, and when I saw Braes fireplace posted today I was moved to action! I made two sets of ''active fire'' by using yellow, orange and red cello paper, folding and cutting flames then wrapping and tapping around flickering battery lights with the on off switch free to get to on the bottom, since these are 1/6 scale fireplaces I used 3 lights in each one. It gives off the right light for a mello fire light, may try 5 of them for a roaring fire!

Very nice!  :ohyeah:  I love a flickering fire.  I went with a static red bulb since I couldn't hide the switch in this build.
