First staging of living room

The living room is just to the left of the dining room -- the sliding pocket doors are hidden behind the taped-up-to-experiment wallpaper on the right hand side. I'm not sure about furniture in here yet, but do want to go for an eclectic mix of contemporary and antique styles. The big grey contemporary sofa comes from etsy seller itsperfectlypetite and I'm pretty excited about it. I built the bookshelf/TV stand thing inspired by MikeUK (it still needs another coat of paint), and that's my iphone 4S in there. Several of the items on the shelves are tiny stone carvings I bought in India several years ago. The nook at the back behind the navy sofa and half-walls is about 5 inches deep, and is going to be the music room.
