Left wing room progress

Crown molding is going up, the fireplace will be the last thing added to the room, [ still working on it anyway ] but the molding is sized and cut to fit the fireplace wall and crown. I decided I would wallpaper to the floor and then will add moldings and wainscoting as I work, possibly in the style of the JP Morgan doll house study. I so want to stop and try out the furniture in the room. I have also been making decisions regarding the ceiling and floor design. I want to be extremely satisfied with my choices, since I will be creating 9 rooms.

 

I am really looking forward to seeing the entire house come together, and making the stone block exterior, its one room at a time though

Do you have drawings or sketches of your floorplans you could show us so we get the overall idea? I'm not quite following the room placements and such. Is it 2, 3, or 4 stories? Basement or attic? Thanks.

I do! but they are messy now since I have tweaked my design, its 3 stories, 9 rooms, with the staircase in the center sections, no basement, the 3rd story is the attic, you will start to see it as it unfolds.

I love the ways the bays and the corner come together.  It might work, if that is ok, on a smaller/shorter

version of a window....
