Studio Reveal: Desk Area

I have most of the furniture shoved into one room. Now to move it around into a workable space. This is the desk area. On the left wall (not shown) is a magnetic white board for ideas and inspiration. The room is divided into 3 aisles. This is aisle 1. The first row of dividers are Ikea Trofast cabinets that hold plastic tubs full of miniature supplies.

Gotta love Ikea for good storage ideas! I see you have their trolley cart too, I've had my eye on that one for awhile, I also would choose the green. Those tall drawers must be so convenient!

The tall drawers are actually two drawer units, stacked. I removed the one's castors. I love my little trolley - walked into the "As Is" section one morning at opening time; it was marked down half price as an ex display item!

I love those drawer units! They'd be great for storing wallpaper and scrapbooking stuff. Where did you find them (please don't say "Dubai"!)?

Hehehehe. They're the Alex drawer units from Ikea (but I did buy mine in Dubai!). They are lovely and big, but cannot take too much weight. The bottom bulged down in one drawer and I had to fix it with duct tape (the grey bits sticking out on the front).

Whew! What a lot of work this whole move is. I surely hope your family appreciates all your re-organization for them.
