You can paint over the LED lights to dim the brightness. Nail polish works wonders...loving every pic of this house:)

Any transparent glass paint works as well. Otterine has some info about combining colors to get the ambience you are hoping for.

Thanks for LED tips! Right now it looks like there's a subway tunnel in the hallway, it's so bright. I left room on the outside of the house to add the exterior chimney, but may not get that done before Gloria gets the house. It's ok, it's not necessary, and, perhaps Gloria and I can work together later and add it. I'd like to teach her how to do some of this cool stuff, if she's interested. And I think she will be.
