Faux travertine on mat board

This is how it looks so far. Still damp. I hate the smell of Modge Podge in the morning. But at least a couple of more coats, the next one tinted with a smidgen of raw umber water color. Mixing water color paint into the glaze coating adds the depth we see and appreciate in natural stone. Floating the transparent color above the layers below. Blah, blah blah.
