Masking tape makes pretty good clamps. Had to do a lot of trimming to fit some of the tabs, and I'll be doing a lot of wood filler later, but it's starting to look like a house

I use shoe laces through window holes :) and clamps of course. and tape. books. bricks. bottles. coffee mugs. book ends. rocks. ....

I like the shoelace idea. Bricks and books, paint cans, walls - I've used them all. I always seem to have a harder time with actual clamps :)
